NRHS NJROTC Cadets Visit Willow Grove for Month of the Military Child

In honor of the Month of the Military Child, NRHS NJROTC cadets visited Willow Grove Elementary to connect with some of our youngest learners, reading stories, coloring together, and helping students write heartfelt letters.

This experience goes far beyond a simple visit. It builds meaningful connections between students of different ages, giving elementary students positive role models to look up to while reinforcing leadership, empathy, and service in our cadets. It also brings awareness to the resilience and sacrifices of military-connected children, reminding them that their stories matter and that they are supported by their community.

Moments like these strengthen the sense of belonging across North Rockland, showing that whether in uniform or in the classroom, we take care of one another.
